Financial Participation Agreement

2026–2027 Club Season

 

This Financial Participation Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between Voltage Volleyball Club (“Voltage VBC”), located in St. Charles, Missouri, and the player and their parent(s) or legal guardian(s).

By checking the box, the player and their parent(s) or legal guardian(s) acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms and conditions for participation in the 2026–2027 Voltage Volleyball Club season.

 

1. Club Participation

The player listed on this registration has accepted a position on a Voltage Volleyball Club team for the 2026–2027 season.

Acceptance of a roster position represents a commitment to participate with Voltage Volleyball Club for the entire season and to fulfill all financial obligations outlined in this Agreement.

Once a player has accepted a roster position and is registered with USA Volleyball through Gateway Region, the player may not transfer to another club and compete in USA Volleyball-sanctioned events during the same club season, except as permitted by USA Volleyball and the applicable Regional Volleyball Association.

2. Club Fee

The total Club Fee for athletes on 15U–18U teams is:

$2,800.00

The Club Fee provides the athlete with the opportunity to participate in practices, coaching, tournaments included in the team schedule, and club operations.

Payment of Club Fees does NOT guarantee:

  • Playing time

  • Equal playing time

  • A starting position

  • A specific position

  • Participation in every match

Playing time and team roles are determined solely by the coaching staff based on the athlete's skill level, attendance, effort, attitude, teamwork, commitment, and the team's needs.

 

3. Payment Options

The parent or guardian who accepts these terms and conditions may select one of the following payment options:

Option 1 – Full Payment of $2,800.00, due on the player's Commitment Night.

Option 2 – Five Monthly Installments

Five (5) equal payments of $560.00 each, due on the following dates:

  • Sept. 30th, 2026

  • Oct 30th, 2026

  • Nov. 30th, 2026

  • Dec. 30th, 2026

  • Jan. 30th, 2027

Payment by Check

Parents choosing to pay by check must bring five (5) post-dated checks to Commitment Night, made payable to Gabriela Monclova.

4. Online Payment Processing Fee

Parents choosing to pay online by credit card or other electronic payment methods agree to pay an additional 3.2% transaction fee on each payment. This processing fee is charged by the payment provider and will be added to each online transaction.

5. Late or Missed Payments

Failure to make payments by the due date may result in:

  • Suspension from practices

  • Ineligibility for tournaments

  • Suspension from club activities

  • Loss of roster position until the account is current

Voltage VBC reserves the right to withhold participation until all outstanding balances have been paid.

6. Non-Refundable Club Fees

The Parent/Guardian understands and agrees that Club Fees are non-refundable.

No refunds or credits will be given because of:

  • Injury

  • Illness

  • Voluntary withdrawal

  • Suspension

  • Dismissal from the club

  • Missed practices

  • Missed tournaments

  • Personal scheduling conflicts

  • Relocation

  • Any circumstance preventing participation

The Club makes financial commitments immediately after roster acceptance, including tournament registrations, coaching contracts, facility rentals, insurance, equipment purchases, and administrative expenses. Therefore, the Parent/Guardian remains responsible for the entire Club Fee regardless of the athlete's level of participation.

7. Additional Expenses

The Club Fee does not include the cost of:

  • Uniforms

  • Warm-ups

  • Court shoes

  • Knee pads

  • Volleyball backpack

  • Water bottle

  • Personal equipment

  • Transportation

  • Hotels

  • Meals

Additional fees may also be assessed if the team chooses to participate in tournaments not originally included in the season budget or qualifies for post-season events after April.

8. Default and Collection

Failure to satisfy the financial obligations under this Agreement constitutes a breach of contract.

Voltage Volleyball Club reserves the right to pursue all legal remedies available, including but not limited to:

  • Collection of the unpaid balance

  • Court costs

  • Reasonable attorney's fees

  • Collection agency fees

  • Interest permitted under Missouri law

  • Any additional legal expenses incurred in enforcing this Agreement

9. Club Authority

Voltage Volleyball Club reserves the exclusive right to determine:

  • Team placement

  • Playing time

  • Player positions

  • Tournament participation

  • Practice attendance requirements

  • Team rules

  • Disciplinary actions

Failure to comply with club policies or financial obligations may result in suspension or dismissal from the club.

10. Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability

Participation in competitive volleyball involves inherent risks of injury.

The Parent/Guardian acknowledges these risks and certifies that the athlete is physically capable of participating.

Voltage Volleyball Club, its directors, coaches, employees, volunteers, and representatives shall not be held liable for injuries, illness, accidents, property damage, or personal losses that may occur during participation in club activities, except as otherwise required by law.

11. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Missouri.

If any provision of this Agreement is determined to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior oral or written discussions or representations. Any amendment must be made in writing and signed by both parties.

By checking the box in the players' registration, the Parent/Guardian accepts full financial responsibility for all obligations outlined herein, regardless of the athlete's continued participation.
