CONCUSSION & INJURY POLICY
Parent/Guardian Responsibilities
Parents or legal guardians are responsible for ensuring their athlete receives appropriate medical care following any suspected concussion or significant injury.
Before an athlete returns to any Voltage Volleyball Club practice or competition, written medical clearance, when required, must be provided to the Club Director.
Voltage Volleyball Club reserves the right to withhold an athlete from participation if there is concern for the athlete's health or safety.
Illness and Other Injuries
Athletes who are sick, injured, or unable to safely participate are expected to remain home and recover.
The coaching staff may require an injured or ill athlete to refrain from participating in practices or tournaments until the athlete is medically able to return.
Medical clearance may be required before an athlete resumes volleyball activities.
Tournament Participation
Voltage Volleyball Club will make every reasonable effort to attend all scheduled tournaments.
However, parents understand and acknowledge that the Club may cancel tournaments if there are not enough healthy and eligible players to safely field a team.
If a tournament is canceled due to an incomplete roster resulting from injuries, illnesses, player absences, or other unforeseen circumstances, the cancellation shall be considered beyond the Club's control.
Tournament entry fees, Club fees, travel expenses, lodging, meals, and any other related costs are non-refundable.
